VINE Home Thrift Store

Everyone is welcome to shop at our 8,000 sq. ft. store, run by helpful staff and friendly volunteers. We are proud of our attractively arranged store filled with household necessities and wonderful treasures, offered at great prices, and replenished daily. Everything is donated by our generous community. Please keep us in mind if you move, remodel, downsize, or purchase new home furnishings. Donations are tax-deductible. All money raised stays local and benefits VINE’s programs and services.

We accept cash and credit or debit card payments with proper identification. We do not offer layaway and items must be paid in full at time of purchase. Purchased items can be held for 48 hours to allow time for you to arrange pick up. We are happy to help you load your vehicle however, we will not secure or tie down items nor do we provide ropes or straps, so please plan accordingly.

Proceeds from the VINE Home Thrift Store support programs and services of VINE Faith in Action and all money raised at the VINE Store stays in the local community!

FAQ

What does the money go to from the VINE Store?

All proceeds from the store go to help VINE’s programs and services for the older adults in the community.

Are you a consignment shop or do you buy furniture?

No, we are a non-profit store who accepts donations to support VINE Faith In Action.

Are donations Tax Deductible or can I get a donation receipt?

Yes, your donation is tax deductible and we can give you a receipt for your donation.

How much is my donation worth?

It is up to the individual donating the item to put a value on the item as we cannot do that at the store for you, however we can share resources with you to help determine an amount.

Do you pick up items?

Yes, you can call the store to schedule a pickup of large items. Within the greater Mankato area we offer free pickup of items and for further distances, we charge a fee based on the distance and items. You can call the VINE Store to see what that cost would be if interested in donating items.

Items must be located on the main level, in the garage, or in a main level storage location. We are unable to carry items up a flight or more of steps from a basement or bring items down a flight of stairs. However, we can still pick up items from multi-story buildings if there is an available elevator for use.

Do you have special days such as Senior Discounts or Half Off?

No, we do not have regular discount days but we do have different sales, promotions and specials throughout the year. We have a newsletter you can sign up for to be alerted of such sales or check with the VINE Store.
