VINE and Mankato Community Education offer a comfortable coach bus, escorts and an affordable price. Buses depart from the Wow!Zone Family Entertainment Center, behind Hilltop Hy-Vee. DayTrippers Theatre – “Til Beth Do Us Part”

Minnesota Landscape Arboretum

  • May 15

Explore 1,200 acres of professionally-maintained gardens, rare plant collections and accessible trails. In 2019 USA Today readers named the Aboretum the best botanical gardens in North America. Attendees will see 40,000 gorgeous tulips, acres of blooming crabapple trees and azelea bushes, wildflower, daffodil and flowering bulb displays. A Flowerpot lunch in a private dining area and guided tram tour is included with this trip.

MANKATO’S INDIGENOUS HISTORY (PART 1 OF 3 SERIES)

Land theft, forced exile and cultural suppression of people indigenous to Mankato area has been ignored in mainstream education. Indigenous elders like Joe safeguard lost traditions, offering a chance to honor the past and revive interest in preserving them for the future. We will embark on a mission to change the narratives that have been silenced, forging connections and fostering understanding. As we delve into the truths of this land, it is important to do so together, amplifying and centering Dakota perspectives through partnership, collaboration and advocacy.

Our full-service fitness center is non-intimidating and features state-of-the-art strength training equipment. Our exercise equipment is easy to use and reduces stress on your joints. The smart-card technology personalizes your training, while keeping track of your progress. Professional staff and trained volunteers are always available to help.

International Travel

Switzerland: Hidden Trails and Majestic Peaks

Discover Neuchâtel’s historic quarter and the treasures of the Belle Époque period. Visit the 13th-century Château de Boudry, where you’ll tour the Museum of Vine and Wine with a tasting. Equipped with a Swiss Travel Pass, travel entirely by train.

No matter the weather outside, our cushioned walking track is always the perfect 70 degrees inside, with 360-degree views of the Minnesota River Valley. Research shows that a flat, firm, but not too hard surface is the best for older knees and joints.
