As women age, their health journeys become more complex and personal. This session explores the unique challenges and opportunities facing older women, including menopause, bone health, heart disease, mental wellness and preventive care. Dr. Reyhaus will share the latest research and strategies to help women thrive physically, emotionally and socially, while offering tools for advocacy and holistic well-being.

TEETH: STAY HYDRATED
Explore the importance of staying hydrated to protect your teeth and gums. Dehydration, a common problem, can lead to dry mouth and difficulties with swallowing and speaking. Learn which drinks best support oral health and receive practical tips on maintaining hydration while avoiding beverages that can worsen dryness. Keeping the mouth moist is essential for overall oral health.

Five Wishes
Five Wishes is an easy to complete form that lets you say exactly what you want when you can’t speak for yourself. Wish 1 allows you to choose the person you want to make health care decisions for you. Wish 2 provides options for the kind of medical treatment you want or don’t want. Wishes 3, 4 and 5 deal with your personal, spiritual and emotional wishes. Once completed and properly signed, the document is valid and legal under MN law.

PICKLEBALL CLINIC

EVERYDAY AGEISM
“Everyday ageism” refers to subtle verbal, nonverbal, or environmental slights that devalue older adults. These microaggressions often occur in daily interactions and can be unpleasant, hurtful and harmful to emotional and physical health. This presentation will share MSU Mankato research on common examples, how often they occur and how older adults respond.

No matter the weather outside, our cushioned walking track is always the perfect 70 degrees inside, with 360-degree views of the Minnesota River Valley. Research shows that a flat, firm, but not too hard surface is the best for older knees and joints.
