The term “Supermoon” describes the phenomenon when the moon’s orbit brings it closest to Earth, at the same time it is full. This results in a moon that appears larger and brighter in the night sky. Explore the wonders of the night sky and learn about the upcoming Supermoon. Deepen your understanding of the night sky and prepare for one of the biggest and brightest full moons of the year.
