OLD MANKATO WALKING TOURS
Mankato is the site of the largest mass execution in US history, “home” for the Betsy-Tacy stories, “the city” for folks on “Little House on the Prairie,” and the base for what was once one of the largest milling operations in Minnesota. Tony Filipovitch, retired professor of Urban Studies at MSU Mankato, will lead two walking tours and talk about “the little town that time forgot and the ages cannot improve” Both tours begin and end at VINE.
