If you’re caring for someone with dementia, it can be a challenge for you both to stay active. Research shows that physical exercise helps caregivers and those diagnosed with dementia sleep better, decreases stress, provides social opportunities and improves mood. Exercise may also slow mental decline and improve self-cares ability. This new exercise class for those with cognitive impairment and their caregiver, focuses on strength building, flexibility and endurance. Exercises can be done from a chair or standing and can be modified for all abilities. Please call Jen to register at (507) 386-5588.
